Hello!
I’m Kate Jenkins AKA Sticky Tape Kate. I’m a UK based designer and illustrator and I love to use illustration to communicate and to tell a story.
My recent projects have included designing and painting a huge lion for the Pride of Portsmouth Wild in Art Trail, freelance illustrations for cards available in Tesco and working with local businesses to create illustrations for a variety of projects from biscuit packaging to printed guides and short animations for social media.
I often work digitally but it is very important for me to retain a hand drawn quality to my work so I do work on paper too. The Sticky Tape in my work name goes way back to my love of collage and cutting and sticking. I would use lots of tape as I was often far too impatient to let the glue dry.
I am a mum of 4 wonderful girls and have a very outnumbered but supportive husband. Our youngest started school in 2025 and since then I have been illustrating full time, building up my portfolio and meeting new clients
I have been a member of the Association of Illustrators since 2025.
