Hello!

I’m Kate Jenkins AKA Sticky Tape Kate. I’m a UK based designer and illustrator and I love to use illustration to communicate and to tell a story.

I work mostly digitally at the moment, my background is in surface pattern and textile design. The Sticky Tape in my work name goes way back to my love of collage and cutting and sticking. I would use lots of tape as I was often far to impatient to let the glue dry.

My recent projects have included a series of illustrations commissioned for Buxton Through The Shop Window - an events trail and printed guide showcasing several unique and wonderful independent businesses.

As a freelance illustrator, I have produced a large range of characters, motifs and handwriting currently in use by several greetings card companies on their cards, gift bags and promotional materials.

I have been a member of the Association of Illustrators since 2025.
